Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you have a rifle or pistol range available? A: No, we are a shotgun-only range.
Q: Do you rent shotguns at the range? A: No, we do not loan or rent firearms at our facility. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Q: Are there any age limitations? Can my child shoot, too? A: We don't have any specific age limitations. As long as the shooter is strong enough to hold the shotgun and understands the safety procedures, they are more than welcome to shoot.
Q: What are the restrictions for bringing my own ammunition? A: Shells may be no longer than 3 dram 1-1/8 oz 7-1/2 shot, 1-1/8 oz at 1290 FPS max, 1 oz at 1325 FPS max, or 7/8 oz at 1350 FPS max. All shells must be a lead shot target load. No 3" shells may be shot.
Q: Can I bring my own clay pigeons to shoot? A: No, we provide the clay targets and a scorekeeper.
Q: Can I purchase my shells at the range? A: Yes, we have shells available for sale. We carry a "house" shell for $6 per box, with other brands and options available.
Q: I see you're open at night. How are we supposed to shoot in the dark? A: All of our shooting fields have stadium lighting so shooters can shoot after dark.
Q: What about the weather? If it's raining or snowing, will you still be open? A: We are open year-round, so poor weather is inevitable. We will be open if it's raining, snowing, or sleeting—as long as there is no lightning present. All shooters will be cleared from the line if there is any lightning. If the temperature is below 20 degrees or if there is significant snow or ice accumulation, please contact us to find out if we are open.
